1. Ceiling height: a 2.7m Victorian ceiling needs taller doors and panels than a 2.4m modern ceiling.
2. Corners and angles: an L-shaped run or a sloping ceiling adds panels that a straight wall does not need.
3. Interior density: a metre full of drawers costs more than a metre of hanging rail.

A typical 2.4m wall in a double bedroom therefore sits roughly between £2,500 and £6,000 as a guideline, depending on doors and interior.
